Southwell offers two medical weight loss programs: one in Tifton at Allure Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and one in Sylvester at Southwell Medical Sylvester Primary Care. These programs include individualized advice and plans, nutritional guidance, weight-loss prescription medications, and exercise recommendations that work for you. Additionally, LipoVite and Vitamin B12 injections are also available. Patients at Allure can also be prescribed Ozempic and Wegovy (Semaglutide).

In addition to the two weight loss programs at Allure and Southwell Medical Sylvester Primary Care, Southwell also has a bariatric weight loss program through South Georgia Surgical with Dr. Paul Cartwright, MD.
“The bariatric weight loss program at South Georgia Surgical can be a great option for people who are having trouble losing weight through traditional diet and exercise,” said Liza. “Medicare and most forms of insurance cover bariatric surgery for qualified patients.”
After having bariatric surgery, Dr. Derron Spikes at Allure Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery can also provide skin removal surgery for patients interested in having excess skin removed after significant weight loss.
